Foreign sales help drive up American Apparel’s ’08 online sales 55%
With an 84% boost in web sales outside of the U.S. and Canada, multichannel retailer American Apparel posted a 55% increase in total online sales last year to $39.37 million, as total retail sales grew 41% and comp store sales increased 22%.

Web sales at Jones Apparel rose 52% in FY 2008
Full year web sales for Jones Apparel, a branded apparel manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer, were $32 million, up by 52%, or $11 million, from $21 million in fiscal 2007.

Jones says web sales grew 43% in the first nine months of 2008
Jones Apparel Group says web sales reached $19.1 million for the first nine months of 2008 and should reach $30 million for the year. But overall revenue for the same period was down about 8% for the branded apparel designer, wholesaler and retailer.
