Quixtar reports flat web sales for fiscal 2005

Quixtar Inc. is reporting essentially flat web sales for its 2005 fiscal year. In 2005, the web generated sales of $753 million, up less than 1% from Internet sales of $748 million in fiscal 2004, Quixtar says.

Quixtar’s e-commerce sales grow 9.5% in year to $748 million

Online sales at Quixtar reached $748 million for the 12 months ended Aug. 31, the company reports, up 9.5% from $683 million a year earlier. E-commerce sales represent 68% of Quixtar’s total sales of $1.1 billion.
