Web sales grow 9.5% at Quixtar.com in 2004
Quixtar.com, the e-commerce and direct marketing subsidiary of Alticor, which also owns Amway, recorded 2004 web sales of $748 million, a 9.5% increase over online sales of $683 million in 2003. Quixtar has been increasing products available online.

Online sales at Quixtar reached $748 million for the 12 months ended Aug. 31, the company reports, up 9.5% from $683 million a year earlier. E-commerce sales represent 68% of Quixtar’s total sales of $1.1 billion.

Health-and-beauty products retailer Quixtar.com compiled $683 million in sales last year, up 26% from $541 million in 2002, the company reports. To keep sales growing, it’s planning a major site overhaul this year.
