uBid.com to shut down consumer-to-consumer auction site Bidville.com
In the latest in a series of steps to focus on business-to-consumer sales of excess inventory, uBid.com is shutting down the auction site that allowed consumers to sell unwanted items. The company says it was unable to find a buyer for Bidville.com.

NatWest to close FastPay online payment service
National Westminster Bank is shutting down its United Kingdom-based FastPay person-to-person payment service, effective July 15. FastPay is accepted by auction sites, including eBay, Cyberbid and eBid.
