Steady web traffic helped L.L. Bean grow the top line in 2007
L.L. Bean turned in slightly higher total sales in 2007, but also reported a steady increase in traffic to LLBean.com. The number of visits to LLBean.com increased by 14% in 2007, to 81 million visits from 70 million visits in 2006.

Free holiday shipping helps LLBean.com set a single-day processing record
On its busiest day in December L.L. Bean processed approximately 97,200 web orders, up 20% from the previous one-day record of 81,000 Internet orders the retailer picked, packed and shipped during Christmas 2006.
