The web outpaces stores once more for Abercrombie & Fitch in Q2
Abercrombie & Fitch posted Q2 web sales of $55.9 million, up 22.6% from web sales of $45.6 million in the prior year. In comparison overall revenue grew by 5.1% to $845.8 million from $804.5 million in Q2 of 2007. Comparable store sales declined by 4%.

An international customer base that likes shopping online helped Abercrombie & Fitch post higher first quarter web sales. E-commerce revenue rose by 44% while comparable store sales dropped 3%.
