    How FedEx weathered its ‘toughest winter’

    The shipping carrier posts a 3% year-over-year revenue increase for its December-February quarter, even though severe weather disruptions cut into operating income by $70 million and its earnings by $125 million, it reports today. Company executives blamed retailers for some delays around Christmas, and said they were being cautious about increasing capacity just for the short holiday season peak.
