Napster’s revenue grows 34% year over year to record $28 million
Revenue at digital music download retailer Napster Inc. grew 34% in the first quarter of its 2007 fiscal year, reaching a record $28.1 million from $20.9 million a year earlier, the company reports. Sales were up 5% from the preceding quarter.

Q2 revenue at Netflix rises 46% year-over-year
Revenue at Netflix Inc. rose 46% to $239.4 million for the second quarter ended June 30, up from $164 million a year ago, as its number of subscribers grew 62% to 5.2 million, Netflix said this week.

Netflix’s quarterly revenue reaches another record
First quarter revenue for Netflix Inc. reached a record $224.1 million, up 47% over the first quarter of 2005. Net income on a GAPP basis for the first quarter was $4.4 million compared to GAAP net loss of $8.8 million for the first quarter of 2005.

Netflix Q3 revenue rises 23% as subscriber total climbs 61%
Revenue at online DVD rental service Netflix.com rose 23% year-over-year to $174.3 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, as the number of subscribers rose 61% to 3.6 million, Netflix Inc. said today.

Netflix reports first profit on 74% increase in Q2 revenue
With a 37% increase in subscribers to more than 1.1 million in Q2, online DVD rental store Netflix racked up its first quarterly net profit, $3.3 million, compared to a net loss of $13.1 million a year ago.
