Online spending up 19.6% last week, comScore reports
The holiday season remained strong for e-retailers last week, as online sales totaled $4.58 billion for the week ended Dec. 7, up 19.6% from $3.83 billion during the same week in 2006, reports comScore. The holiday season overall is up 18.2%.

Q3 online sales grow a robust 23% year over year
Online retail spending in the third quarter grew 23% over last year’s third quarter to $28.44 billion from $23.05 billion, comScore Inc. reports. In the first three quarters of the year, online sales grew 21% to $83.58 billion from $69.12 billion.
