eBay’s customer experience improved in 2009, study says
Amazon.com Inc., eBay Inc. and Barnes & Noble Inc. had the three highest Net Promoter customer satisfaction scores among online retailers in 2009, according to a new study. While Amazon’s score fell from 74% to 71%, eBay’s improved from 61% to 65%.

Online comparison shopping service Shopping.com’s CEO Dan Ciporin is stepping down and will become chairman of the board of directors. Lorrie Norrington, a member of the Shopping.com board, will replace Ciporin as president and CEO, effective June 1.

GXS to cut work force by 20%
