FTD Group web sales flower 4% for fiscal 2007
Domestic web sales at FTD Group hit $254.1 million for the florist’s 2007 fiscal year, a 4% increase over $245.2 million during FY 2006. Web sales accounted for 88% of the retailer’s fiscal year 2007 domestic consumer segment sales of $287.6 million.

FTD’s third-quarter direct revenue grows 6%
Revenue in FTD Group’s domestic consumer segment, made up mostly of FTD.com sales, grew 6% to $80.2 million in the third quarter. Orders during the quarter grew 4.4%.

A “more rational competitive environment” in online search marketing helped FTD Group grow its direct consumer business 14% year-over-year to $47.4 million for its fiscal first quarter ended Sept. 30, reports president and CEO Michael Soenen.

E-commerce flowers for FTD in FY 2006
FTD Inc. grew total e-commerce sales by 14.9% in fiscal 2006 and 24.9% in the fourth quarter. The company also has settled a deceptive advertising lawsuit it filed against Provide Commerce, now a part of Liberty Media Corp.

FTD Group has completed the acquisition of Interflora Holdings Limited, a U.K.-based provider of floral-related products and services that sells via the web and catalogs in the United Kingdom. FTD purchased the company for $122 million.
