Web sales pump up nicely for NBTY in fiscal 2009
NBTY, a manufacturer and marketer of nutritional supplements and related merchandise, muscled up a 12.3% increase in web sales for the 2009 fiscal year. The web accounted for 47% of direct response/e-commerce sales in 2009 vs. 44% in fiscal 2008.

NBTY muscles up Q3 web sales
In the third quarter NBTY’s web sales rose 35% to $24.7 million from $18.3 million in the prior year. In comparison, same-store sales in North America fell by 6% while total revenue grew by 6.4% to $535 million.
