Ford’s web traffic explodes following latest financing promotion
Traffic on Ford Motor Co.’s network of web sites, including dealer sites, grew 70% and new inventory searches grew 100% during the week following the launch of Ford`s current “0% financing for 72 months” promotion.

FordDirect revs up Internet leads in 2005
In all, more than 250,000 new Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles were sold through FordDirect Internet referrals last year, up 15% from 2004. That total represents about 10% of Ford’s 2005 retail sales, says FordDirect president Steve St. Andre.

Ford’s newest car site lets buyers purchase online—almost
Car buyers will not be able to make an online down payment or complete an e-commerce transaction on a new hybrid SUV. But by offering online support throughout the transaction, Ford is using the web to market to buyers and drive sales to dealers.
