The stagnant economy took a toll on e-commerce revenue for 1-800-Flowers.com in the third quarter of fiscal 2009. Web sales declined by 25.7% as total revenue decreased 21.3%.

Web sales rise 26% for World Wrestling Entertainment in Q3
World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. smacked down a few more Internet sales in the third quarter. E-commerce sales grew to $3.9 million while total revenue remained flat.

Total sales are up, but Q1 web sales fade a bit at 1-800-Flowers.com
1-800-Flowers.com posted e-commerce sales, which include web and call center orders, of $107.7 million in Q1, down 5.9% from $114.5 million in Q1 of the prior year. Total revenue, led by higher sales at BloomNet and DesignPac Gifts, rose by 8.3%.

World Wrestling e-commerce sales are up for Q2, but down for first half
In Q2 World Wrestling posted e-commerce sales of $3.9 million, an increase of 8.3% over web sales of $3.6 million in the prior year. But web sales dropped by 3.9% for January through June.

WWE reports first quarter online revenue increased by 16% to $8.1 million
World Wrestling Entertainment’s overall e-commerce businesses produced $8.1 million in sales for the first quarter of 2008, up by 16% year-over-year, however WWEShop.com sales decreased by 10%.

1-800-Flowers’ web sales rise by 8.5% while total revenue is up 18.8%
1-800-Flowers.com posted e-commerce revenue in Q3 of $175.6 million vs. $161.8 million a year earlier. Total Q3 revenue rose to $213.8 million from $180 million. Net income for the quarter reached $2.6 million.

Build-A-Bear builds on solid web growth
Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. grew its web sales by 21% in 2006 while total sales also increased by 21%. Overall the web accounted for 2% of total revenue last year and 3% in the fourth quarter.

1-800-Flowers.com posts record second-quarter sales of $329.9 million
Total revenues for the quarter were up 18.7% from a year ago. Net income for the quarter increased 63.7% to $16.9 million from $10.3 million in its fiscal Q2 2006.
