First quarter total sales rise faster than web sales at CDW
E-commerce sales for CDW Corp. rose by 10% in the first quarter while total revenue grew by 17%. Total sales in the first quarter of 2007 were $1.86 billion compared to $1.59 billion in the first quarter of 2006.

Direct marketer of personal computers and related gear CDW grew web sales by 8% in Q4 and 12% for the full year. In 2006 the web accounted for 28% of all sales vs. 27% in 2005.

Personal computers and accessories direct marketer CDW Corp. is reporting an e-commerce sales gain of 16.9% for the second quarter; total sales rose 6.1%. Overall the web accounted for 30% of sales in Q2.
