Amazon agrees to a publisher’s demand that it raise e-book prices
Amazon.com says it will give in to Macmillan Publishers Ltd.’s demand that it raise prices for electronic versions of Macmillan books. The decision comes after Amazon temporarily stopped selling Macmillan’s books.

Social and e-commerce site Scribd to offer John Wiley and Sons e-books
Scribd and book publisher John Wiley and Sons announced today an agreement whereby Scribd will sell the publisher’s e-books. Scribd also announced deals with Sterling Publishing, Chronicle Books and University of Chicago Press.
