Web sales rise 5% in 2009 at Jo-Ann Stores but ebb heading into 2010
Web sales at the fabric and craft retailer rose 5% year over year to $37.5 million for the 2009 calendar year. But for the fiscal fourth quarter ended Jan. 30, online sales remained flat compared to the year-ago quarter as total sales rose 5%.

MarketLive Index shows further evidence of a rebound in online sales
Fourth-quarter same-store sales for MarketLive e-retail clients grew 8.54% over Q4 2008 sales. The boost in Q4 was enough to allow e-retailers to report a year of flat, rather than declining, sales, reports the MarketLive Performance Index.

Shoes.com, the e-commerce segment of Brown Shoe Co., reported web sales for fiscal 2008 were down 5.5% to $74.2 million. Total sales for Brown Shoe and same-store sales for the specialty retail segment each declined 3.4%.

Dover Saddlery trots out an increase in web sales as total sales drop
Web sales grew modestly for Dover Saddlery in 2008 even as total revenue and same-store sales slipped. The web grew by 1.9% as total sales and same-store sales declined by 4.2% and 4.7%, respectively.
