J.C. Penney marries its bridal registry to WeddingChannel.com
J.C. Penney Corp. Inc. has joined the WeddingChannel.com, a wedding web site and an aggregator of bridal registries. Other retailers with registries at the site include Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Williams-Sonoma, Crate and Barrel, Tiffany and Neiman Marcus.

Mall operator Simon Property Group targets the wired shopper
Shopping center owner Simon Property Group has collected 150,000 e-mail addresses of mall customers since the holidays on its way to a goal of 1.5 million this year. It signed a deal with Real Time Media to coordinate its marketing efforts.
