    Chuck Rubin, former president of North American Retail at Office Depot Inc., is joining multichannel retailer Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance Inc. as president and chief operating officer. He will become CEO after a transition period of up to four months, succeeding Lyn Kirby.

    Ulta Salon sets its IPO terms

    Ulta, which filed for an initial public offering in July, expects to sell 8.5 million shares at $14 to $16 per share. Part of the money will be used to perform an extensive redesign of Ulta.com and launch a newly updated site by June 2008.
