Vermont Teddy Bear to launch site on Demandware platform

Although it has plenty of room to continue growing on its Yahoo Store platform, VermontTeddyBear.com will also launch soon on a platform hosted by Demandware to offer extended shopping features, the retailer says.

Vermont Teddy Bear’s web sales grow 27% over prior year

In 2004, Vermont Teddy Bear, which also sells online with affiliate sites through PajamaGram, TastyGram and Calyx & Corolla, posted web sales of about $28 million, up 27% from Internet sales of $22 million in 2003.

Vermont Teddy Bear grows revenue and expands distribution facility

Revenue at The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. Inc. increased 38.6% to $55.8 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, from $40.3 million in the prior year, the company reports. 55% of revenue comes into Vermont Teddy Bear through web sites.
