Napster reports record Q3 sales with more hits to come

Napster Inc. reported a record $28.4 million in net revenue for the third quarter of fiscal 2007, up 21% from $23.5 million in the same quarter of fiscal 2006. Subscriber growth and the launch of Napster Japan contributed to the gains, the company says.

Napster adds 48,000 subscribers in most recent quarter

Napster added 48,000 subscribers during the third quarter and users downloaded or streamed 1.2 million songs in 2006. Napster’s subscriber base now stands at 566,000.
