Christmas becomes an online bargain day for some U.K. consumers
On Dec. 25, 3.8 million shoppers spent £102 million (US$151 million) online, reports e-commerce trade association Interactive Media in Retail Group. While the number of shoppers was down 14% from 2007, transaction volume was up and consumers spent more.
