PetMed Express reported web sales for fiscal 2009 grew 13.6% from fiscal 2008. The percentage of sales from the Internet continues to rise, reaching 68% for the year.

Annual e-commerce sales rise 23% at PetMed Express

Wall Street analysts are sitting up and taking notice of PetMed Express’s year-end e-commerce performance. Web sales in fiscal 2009 increased by 22.09% to $142.6 million while total sales grew by 16.45%.

The web takes a larger bite of overall PetMed sales

Web sales reached $28.6 million at PetMed Express for the third quarter of fiscal 2009. The web represented 66% of all sales in the quarter, vs. 65% in the prior year quarter and 63% in Q3 2007.
