Hanover Direct completes the transition from public to private company
Following approval of the deal at its annual meeting on April 12, Hanover has merged with Chelsey Direct LLC, its largest shareholder. As a result Hanover will now do business as a privately held company.

Hanover Direct merges with Chelsey Direct
Though the overall value of the deal was not disclosed, Chelsey Direct, Hanover’s largest shareholder, will acquire all outstanding shares of common stock for 25 cents per share. Chelsey already owns 77% of Hanover Direct’s common stock.
